Packing of your Web orders, We Care

Released On 14th Mar 2020

Packaging and Despatch of your Special Purchases

With the difficult conditions out there at the moment, and with Mothering Sunday and Easter just around the corner, we wanted to assure you that you can trust Owen Barry to process your orders and despatches both carefully, considerately and professionally.

Sadly, this year it might be impossible for all of us to deliver those special Mothers Day gifts personally,  if that is the case,  you want whoever you trust with this responsibility to do it carefully and considerately and with the love they would want to be extended to their own mum, family and friends - I can 100% assure you that Owen Barry will take this responsibility very seriously.

If I may say, I believe, that is one of the benefits of dealing with a small family business like Owen Barry, we take EVERBODIES purchase very seriously, we put a lot of love and care into handcrafting all our products and we take a similar amount of care in despatching them.

We have made a very short video below, to show you what our despatch area is like, it is small, it is "on its own" with no passing traffic - right by the offices and away from ANY possible outside contamination.

I hope you see that the stock is stored safely in polythene (which we are in the process of upgrading to bio-degradable) until the time of despatch - then it is decanted and wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, placed into a dustbag and boxed immediately, with that outer box then being immediately placed into a new courier jiffy pack.

We believe this method to be as sanitised and as clean and swift as you can hope for in a situation that is not classed as sensitive,  we hope you agree.

If you are entrusting us to do a Mothers Day direct despatch, you can nominate a personal message, which will be handwritten for you.  NO other paperwork will be included,  the invoice etc will be emailed directly to you together with the tracking numbers etc.
