Spring Palette 2016 .......Pioneering Optimism

Released On 20th Feb 2016

With the last nips of Winter behind us, it is time to focus on our Spring Summer ’16 wardrobe, part of my job at Owen Barry is to ensure the colour palette we offer every season is bang on trend, so this is what
I have learnt studying the 2016 fashion catwalks and leather fairs.

I think there is one phrase that embodies S/S 16 colours – Pioneering Optimism.

Whilst everything can be grounded on subtle earthy tones such as Iced Coffee, Silver Grey and Taupe there strong pops of colour that make you smile  - Granny Smith, Bombay Turquoise, Orange, Flamingo Pink.
Self-expression and individuality are key - you will notice the juxtaposition of colours, bold crazy florals, ruffles set against basic simplicity, Tomboy denim kegs and white basic’s.

Where to go first – Ruffles – ruffles are a must, soft layers and romantic drapes – our Sophia in 7 strong colours at £75.00 ticks all the boxes

Metallic - Our Dillie in Nevada metallic is right on the money it embraces the alchemy of polished platino and silver on soft oatmeal’s – precious but subtle. – Made to order £150

Mark Twain on White Basics – stunning and sexy, our Gamekeeper in Jeans or Silver Grey, the romantic rebel – is that you this Spring?

Rainbow Nation – epitomised by Chloe’s flowing stripes – Owen Barry bags will always send a burst of instant colour blazing thru your wardrobe. Dolly in Lilac a micro Crossbody with punch £75.00

Home Spun Prairie – fringes, meadow floral prints and fluttering frills, our Madison in Lavender would turn any cowgirl loco.

Precious treats  - tassles in all kinds of colours,  tactile and drop dead gorgeous – one  two  three – the more the merrier.

So go on girls, get flouncing, one thing for sure with bright colours, a pioneer spirit and a cracking smile you are going easily rope a winners rosette this spring.
