Dictionary definition: Trapper's hat (noun), a fur cap with ear flaps that can be tied up to the crown of the cap, or tied at the chin to protect the ears, jaw and lower chin from the cold.
Media student Louis Williams (16) will cycle to his sixth form college throughout the autumn and winter, but having suffered cold ears in the past, he's excited at the prospect of keeping them covered this year, with a toasty warm OBAT sheepskin trapper.
