- Beanbags and other large bean filled items will be shipped empty to any remote UK

We use FedEx, DHL, UPS, or Royal Mail.
With all our couriers you will receive an email/text with tracking details and regular updates.

Yes, you have the option to enter a shipping address that differs to your billing address during the checkout process.
Please ensure you review your order to confirm both billing and shipping address before proceeding.
If you are based in the UK, you can change your delivery date, address, or time slot online.
On your email from our courier, you can request alternative delivery options, or give further delivery instructions.
Please bear in mind that when you give delivery instructions to us or to the courier asking for your parcel to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour etc., you assume responsibility for any loss.
Orders placed that are in stock before midday Monday-Thursday (not including public holidays) are usually dispatched the same or following day.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email or text with tracking details so you will be able to track its progress. (Please check your junk mail, as sometimes they can pop in there).
You can also check your order status under your account details to check if your order has been despatched. This should also tell you the courier that we entrusted with your parcel.
Any orders placed that are made to order will take a while longer, and frankly how long, depends on the style & the materials, but never hesitate to contact us for an update.

Yes, your message will be hand written on an Owen Barry postcard and included within the packaging.
Our gift vouchers are in the form of an E-card that you can print and/or forward to the recipient – there is no postage payable.

When you checkout it will be through a secure encrypted technology SSL option where you can confidently use a variety of credit and debits cards or you can use PayPal to process the
payment for you. We also offer Klarna as a payment option.

When using email, we would suggest that any credit card info etc. is withheld and limited to one of the above methods (perhaps we’re old fashioned or watch too much telly!!).

No, you can check out as a guest, however if you do set up an account, you can keep a track of your current and previous orders.
Also if you sign up to our newsletter you can become an OB Friends and Family VIP, updating you with offers, discounts, and events.
Stock items: If your order hasn’t been shipped, then no problem, let us know as quickly as possible, we will cancel and refund your Card or PayPal account immediately for the full value of the order.
Please note: we are pretty speedy when despatching stock items, so if the goods have already been despatched you will have to pay to return them (We don’t offer free returns).
Upon return of the goods (in the original condition with labels intact) we will refund your card for the value of the goods.
Customised items: please check the full terms and conditions section of this website, but basically if we have started cutting and making a bespoke item for you then cancellation is not possible – although we try to help remedy the situation.

You can use the ‘notify me’ button on the product page. As soon the item is in stock, you will automatically be notified via email.
If the item is urgent, we might be able to make it quickly via our customisation service. If you’d like more information about when the stock is due in, feel free to contact us [email protected].

It is easier to keep records straight if we refund your original order when it is returned and ask you to place another order for the “new” item please. If the replacement is needed urgently please contact us directly and we can help the speedy swap over.
For orders under £50 yes you will be charged for delivery, for orders over £50 we offer this service free of charge.
If item isn’t in stock yet, then presently its going through the workshop.
We will be dispatching it around the date advertised on the product page. Pre-ordering reserves the item, and payment is taken at the time the order is placed.
At the point of checkout, you will be asked to apply a discount code, you will only be able to enter one discount code per order.

Returning Items
No Owen Barry does not offer free returns.

Please note that we can only process returns that are accompanied by your receipt, and that have been bought from our website or from the Owen Barry shop.
You have 30 days from receiving your order to request a returns note, and you then have a further 15 days to return them (a total of 45 days from receipt).
We do not offer free returns, you are responsible to return them item back with in the time period, at your own cost.
If you have purchased an OB product through an independent retailer or other online site you must approach them for their returns policy.
Gifts are processed in the same way as a standard order. We will need details of the original order to authorise the return.
Please note: refund payments are processed back onto the original purchaser’s payment method only.
Once your return has been received back to the factory, the returns team need to quality check the item, before compiling a returns report.
We do usually ask for up to 10 working days from receipt of your return to process your refund.
As soon as we process your return, you will receive an email to confirm receipt of your refund.
Please try to contact us only if 10 working days has passed since its arrival at the factory.

We are the largest and oldest UK manufacturer of Sheepskin Outerwear, accessories and lifestyle products, we have been manufacturing here in Somerset England for over 75 years, we are very knowledgeable about all aspects of sheepskin and leather manufacture.
All of our products are made from skins that are 100% a by-product of the food industry.
All products are handmade in our factory in Somerset.
Our shop based at the factory, Owen Barry Ltd, Number 3, The Tanyard, Leigh Road, Street, BA16 0HD is open 10am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Yes. In multiples of £25, £50, £75, £100, £500 and £1000 they are generated online and each one has a unique ID number. You can print them or forward them as e-gifts.

We can deliver globally, presently we are only quoting in Sterling or US Dollars, this is something that we are working to improve upon quite shortly.
