Leather Shoulder Crossbody Bag Oatmeal Dust | Garland by Owen Barry

Garland is another multifunctional contemporary design from Owen Barry.

A very stylish bucket bag with a crossbody strap that can be adjusted to shoulder length. This strap is soft, and tactile but very strong, it is easily and quickly adjusted with feature double D rings. 

The on-trend bucket shape has many great features, whilst being very secure with a sunken metal zipper closure that has been adorned with a strong leather puller.

Inside it is fully lined with British cotton twill lining, there are 2 deep lining pockets that have the edges fully bound with the matching leather.

Internally on the other side to these is a very handy large leather zipper pocket, easily large enough for everything you need to keep extra secure i.e.phone, passport etc.

Finally still on security, there is the handy inside long leather trigger fob, perfect for keys or a little coin purse etc.

Unlike many bucket-shaped bags, we have been very careful with the design of the base, it is elliptical and soft, meaning that whilst it offers generous space and style it will not cut into your hip/thigh even when Garland is filled to capacity.

The OB insignia is proudly attached to the wide soft leather shoulder strap, clearly demonstrating that you are supporting British manufacturing & traditional handcrafting.

Classic Leather

The Owen Barry Classic Leathers are one of the most popular leathers within our handbag collection.

Classic is semi-aniline cow leather that has been developed and hand selected by OB, it's super tactile, rounded, lightweight and hardwearing (with normal usage) and performs exceptionally well within the soft unstructured styling of the Owen Barry Range.

Because it is a semi-aniline leather, which is, by definition quite naked, you will see slight variations in the characteristics of the grain and subtle natural markings with our classic leathers,  we feel this aspect enhances the beauty of our bags and enables the quality of the leather to really shine through.

Heavy Metal Leather

Heavy Metal Leather - is our way of describing metallic leathers that go just that little bit further !!

Heavy Metals are traditionally skins with an extra layer of design finish, so whether it is the fine metallic reptile graining on the Palladium & Titanium or the sumptuous metallic dust on Rock, Mermaid or Oyster, These finishes just take the metallic leather palette to another level.

Heavy metals are quite often, semi-limited editions and will only feature in a collection for a couple of seasons. Most often they are combined with another leather from within our collection, thereby perhaps lifting a popular bag shape to a whole other layer - stunning.
