Cowhide rugs are one of the easiest and robust products to have in your home, they can be treated like any other robust floor covering, spot washed, hoovered (NOT too aggressively) and refreshed on the washing line.

Please be aware that whilst robust, when used in a busy household or thoroughfare the hair will thin and bald over time, much like the wear and tear you would expect of a classic rug., 

Another upside with cowhide rugs is that you can cut them to fit, they don't fray or need hemming, so you want it a bit smaller,  then a sharp knife or a pair of scissors can adapt them to the perfect size for your room.
