Meet Cyrus, our contemporary interpretation of the timeless chore jacket, handcrafted in rich Brandy Cream European Merino shearling with its beautifully soft, naturally curly ivory fleece.

Relaxed yet refined, Cyrus is designed to become the jacket you instinctively reach for. The clean silhouette works just as effortlessly over knitwear in the countryside as it does layered over a shirt in town, making it an exceptionally versatile addition to any wardrobe.

Inspired by the traditional workwear jacket, Cyrus retains all the practical features that made the original such a classic. Two generous lower patch pockets include discreet side-entry hand warmers, while an external chest pocket keeps everyday essentials close to hand. Inside, a further topstitched chest pocket provides a secure place for your phone, wallet or cards.

The five-button front fastens comfortably to the neck for extra warmth on colder days, while the structured double-thickness collar holds its shape beautifully whether worn open or fully buttoned. Carefully turned edges, beautifully tailored buttonholes and meticulous finishing are hallmarks of the craftsmanship that define every Owen Barry garment.

Each Cyrus jacket is individually hand cut and handcrafted in our Somerset workshop by skilled artisans using techniques our family has refined for more than 75 years.

We personally source every European Merino shearling used in our collection, selecting each skin by hand for its quality, character and consistency. All are 100% by-products of the food industry and come exclusively from Leather Working Group certified tanneries, all achieving a minimum Silver standard.
